2014+ Cadillac CTS VSport - 3.6L Twin TurboI was a little skeptical about doing this tune...Wow, not any more! Does this tune ever wake up a car that was already pretty entertaining to drive. The shift points are spot on now and, oh my goodness, does the car ever pull now! An amazing transformation. Those poor rear tires... My wife laughed at me when I walked into the house after my, post tune, test drive saying "well, someone sure looks happy." 2014--2020 Chevrolet Impala - 3.6L - AdvantageI bought this tune for my 2020 Chevrolet Impala Premier as the 6 speed felt sloppy and unrefined from the factory. I had a friend recommend the trifecta tune as he bought the tune for his Buick LaCrosse. He said that it was a night and day difference shifting and performance wise. Once he told me that, I was sold! I bought the tune for my Impala and it is amazing! The vehicle is more responsive in the low and mid range, shifts are smooth and crisp when you need them to be, and the car really feels like it is opened up now. Power: I run 93 octane in my Impala and when paired with this tune, you'll be roasting your tires every time you go to take off! The tune provided my Impala with much more low end response off the line, and completely changed the mid range power. When driving in the city, the Impala feels as if its ready to take on any street race that may come your way, but still maintains a good balance when you're driving in stop and go traffic and not getting up to speed at every stop. I live in the country with a lot of 55 MPH zones and roads with more deer and cow crossing signs than people. This tune makes it very hard for me to control myself to not open it up every chance I get! With the added response and smooth acceleration, you'll find yourself having more "smiles per gallon" rather than efficiency! Highway Driving: Highway driving is very refined and smooth as the tune contains a feature to turn the tune on and off! I've explained more of that below. Cruise Control Feature: I find myself using this feature VERY often. I do a lot of highway driving for my everyday commute (50-75 miles per day). With the activation of cruise control, the tune goes back to "stock" functioning, but shifts are still much more responsive, less sloppy, and seems tuned for efficiency. My gas mileage has improve about 2MPG on the highway. I only saw as high as 28 MPG on the highway with my Impala whereas now I see 30 MPG easily (and could probably see 31 or 32 when warmer temps come to NY). Customer Service Support: Michael has gone above and beyond to assist me with not only my tune, but my vehicle as well! My Impala seemed to have some extra transmission concerns that I assumed were software related, but turned out to be a physical issue with my transmission. I asked Michael dozens of questions about the issues I was having and responded quickly and provided me with information that many other businesses wouldn't share with their customer to get them to spend more money. Michael has great customer service skills and really helped me through the issues I was having with my transmission, and even offered to tweak my tune if I requested to help alleviate the issue (long story short, it turns out my transmission fluid was contaminated). Overall, you will not regret buying this tune. It completely changes your Impala and is a night and day difference. It still maintains stock functionality with the exception of improved throttle and shift response, in turn allowing you to get a few more MPG when you're cruising down the highway. 2015--2016 Chevrolet Colorado - 3.6L - AdvantageI recently purchased a Colorado Z71 and the truck was great but didn't have the "umph" that I expected it would. I also live at a high elevation (5,800ft), so I knew some power was being zapped. I found Trifecta on the Colorado Fans forum. There was nothing but positive responses so I decided to try them out, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Loading the tune took all of 15 minutes and the results were immediately apparent. Truck felt so much more powerful throughout the entire rev range. The truck down shifted smarter and faster. I also saw am increase in MPG when in "Eco Mode" (aka Cruise Control on) on the highway. 2012--2018 Chevrolet Sonic - 1.8L EliteAmazing. I've tried tuning with other companies which have all failed due to my car being a 2018 & them not being able to bypass the GM operating system. 2007--2009 Pontiac Solstice - 2.0L Turbo - Advantage+I was really skeptical about this tuning service at first, especially when I got a check engine light the day after I flashed the tune. I was positive that the tune might have had something to do with it but after a bit of research I found out that the check engine light was caused by my stupid ass refueling the car while it was still running which damaged the EVAP Solenoid. Since then, I've continued to drive with the tune along with 2 additional bolt on modifications to my engine's air intake system. The tune has improved my gas mileage (22 to 25 avg. mpg) and increased power A LOT! So much so, that I'll be needing to upgrade my clutch to a much stronger one to handle the added torque. 2019--Present Chevrolet Blazer - 3.6L - AutoStop Delete OnlyI have a 2019 Chevy Blazer and the start/stop was driving me crazy. I found Trifecta Performance by doing a Google search and saw they offered a legit way to disable this function. The cable needed to do the update arrived quickly and the communication from them was excellent. Once I had the cable, all I had to do was verify my VIN and the program was added to my account. Within 20 mins the program was uploaded and my car no longer turned off at every red light. Honestly, this was the best money ever spent. 2016--2020 Chevrolet Camaro - 3.6L - AdvantageFirst short introduction about me. My name's Markus, 51 years young, from Germany and I bought a Camaro 6th Gen V6 (2017) RS ATM, US Version, in November 2020. I am quite inexperienced with tuning and because the Camaro V6 reacts very slowly in some areas, I wanted to have an optimization here. Before I came to Trifecta, I looked at some other tuning packages from suppliers in Germany. But hardly anyone else seems to have such an easy-to-use and comprehensive package in the field of software optimization. Programming the TCM without replace it with an unlocked version is almost a unique selling point. And btw, Trifecta's many years of experience with handling GM vehicles also brings trust. Ordered Advantage package in mid of December 2020 with shipping of the cable to Germany, that arrives me about 4 weeks later. All presales questions were answered very shortly. One day after I submitted some detail informations of my ECM I got the tuning file. Programming it tooks at all less than 15 minutes. Very easy and no complications. The first test drive was very unusual at first. The automatic transmission in particular reacted quite hectically and aggressively at first. Here I had to develop a new feeling for the throttle response and shifting. But after about 3 days I got the hang of it. It's not that I have the feeling of more power, but the driving experience is much sportier and more aggressive. The tour mode is now much more agile and the sport mode really raises the alarm. 2014+ Cadillac CTS VSport - 3.6L Twin TurboI'm not a computer guru so it took a few hours to get it downloaded onto my laptop. The upload took less than than 10 minutes. Moral of the story: if I I can load it, anybody can! The test drive was flawless, started right up and drove perfectly normal. Normal until you put your foot in it. Let's face it, this tune makes several changes to your car but the real reason you buy it is the boost increase. Well, you won't be disappointed and it's worth every dime. 2013+ GMC Terrain - 3.6LI purchased this tune for my wife for Christmas 2020. Its a 2017 Terrain Denali AWD 3.6. I would drive it and felt like it revved out too much when accelerating almost as if the transmission wasn't calibrated correctly from the factory. She loves the GMC and felt the same way, hearing about trifecta I picked up the tune on a Black Friday Sale. We installed it on Christmas Day and went for a drive. At the first stop light she looks over at me with this Grin on her face in disbelief that a tune can do this. My response is yes the correct one! 2017--2021 Chevrolet Colorado - 3.6L - AdvantageHands down this is the best modification I have done for my 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2. The price is less than or equal to a quality Cold Air Intake - but the tune does so much more!!! It’s simple to install, even for someone like me, who is not computer savvy. Trifecta Advantage does a couple things: First off, it makes the 8 speed automatic transmission shift a whole lot better!!! The awful 1-2 shift is fixed, and the truck holds the gears longer so the engine can actually rev into the power zone. When you drive uphill, the slightest pressure on the accelerator prompts a downshift so that the truck doesn’t slow down and you don’t need to mash the pedal to go uphill. The transmission no longer hunts for gears, and the sloppy shifts are now quick and smooth. The tune also increases torque and power, making the truck pull harder, starting at about 2800 RPM. I can feel the difference when it hits the power band, quite noticeable. Now, it can’t make a V6 into a V8, but it makes the truck a lot more fun to drive than stock. I am very pleased and would recommend this to anybody!!! Sport mode is default when you start the truck, Eco-Mode is selected by turning on the cruise control, but you don’t have to actually “set” the cruise control. 2018--2020 GMC Terrain - 2.0L Turbo - AdvantageI purchased this tune about one month after purchasing my 2020 GMC Terrain Denali. The initial tune had some issues getting it to flash to the ECM but the team at Trifecta worked diligently until we had a working tune. Once I flashed a good tune, the effects were very noticeable. Right away there was improved throttle response, acceleration, and torque. I live in Alaska and right now gas mileage is terrible regardless so I haven't even bothered to keep track of it. The increased performance made it worth it to me. Makes it much easier if passing someone or need a quick response from the engine. Prior to the tune there was a noticeable delay between input on the pedal and actual output from the engine. Now it is almost non-existent. Completely changed the proformance of the ZR2. Amazing throttle response and crisp shifts. I was so impressed I bought one for my 16 Z71! Same results. Best $300 modification ever spent. 2018--2019 Chevrolet Equinox - 1.5L Turbo - AdvantageThis is my second vehicle tuned by Trifecta. My first vehicle was a 1.4L Sonic so I knew when I bought the 1.5L Equinox the tune was going to be a no-brainer. The tune waking up the car would be an understatement. Initial pedal depression is very sensitive. Each shift was crisp and purposeful just as Trifecta advertises. The most drastic improvements are in the first few gears that felt dead before the tune. Cruising speeds of 40+ mph are similar in transmission reaction to stock tune but it definitely pulls harder once it drops a gear. I activated AWD and punched it from a stop and it just launches. A truly amazing difference with just a software change. 2017--2021 Chevrolet Colorado - 3.6L - Advantage+2018 Colorado CRW LB 3.6L LGZ, AFM active in all modes 0-13,000 miles - all stock avg mph 18.2 @ 13,000 miles installed performance exhaust, K&N OE replacement air filter @ 16,200 miles avg mpg 19.3 with 87 octane Tuned Installed 9/2020 @ 16,200 miles @ 18,500 miles avg mpg 18.7. was holding 19.2 until adding winter fuel and increasing idle time for warm up using 89 octane. In stock form the truck was avg low 17mpg during the winter. Driving includes occasionally towing 2 watercraft, work and errands and trips to the ski resort during the winter. 95% of the time truck is driven in sport mode. On one fall 200 mile round trip to a mountain resort, 2500' to 5000' and WOT on long grade climb, avg mpg 25.0 at end of trip, it was sitting on +27 before pushing it on the climb. This is a 55 to 65 mph road network plus town driving. The sport mode is a joy to drive. And the AFM kicks in when climbing grades at slower speeds which it never did in stock form. I wanted to see how often the AFM technology is used when in sport to gain all around fuel improvements. The improvements are way better than I could have expected. ECO is great, drives much better than stock and I use it during cruise control need but sport mode is just more fun.
