TRIFECTA presents a complete powertrain power delivery profile calibration for the 2018--Present Chevrolet Traverse (RPO: LFY) engine and corresponding 9-speed automatic transmission reprogramming. The TRIFECTA Performance Chevrolet Traverse LFY powertrain calibration is an easy to install software performance calibration with an included flash loader device (EZ Flash Cable) that will yield gains of up to +24 ft-lbs and +32 WHP (Peak gains of up to +8 ft-lbs and +14 WHP) to a completely stock Chevrolet Traverse LFY.
The TRIFECTA Advantage Powertrain Calibration for the Chevrolet Traverse LFY is meant for 100% stock vehicles. No individualizations or support for parts that do not function on factory calibration (if you have such modifications, be sure to check with us prior to placing order). Includes a TRIFECTA flash loader.
 
Specifications of the TRIFECTA Performance Chevrolet Traverse 3.6L LFY ECM software reprogramming:
-gains of up to +24 ft-lbs and +32 WHP under the curve (and +8 ft-lbs and +14 WHP peak on 91 octane)
-Powertrain calibration has been tested and validated for various environments, such as cold/heat, elevation, and variations in fuel quality
-Power feels linear and immediately responsive (improved drivability and throttle attentiveness)
-Retains all GM OE diagnostics and ECM functionality
-Retains all OE error code reporting and functionality
-Emissions readiness checks are present; emissions compliant

  • 17 Digit Vehicle Identification Number.

    Must be exactly 17 digits, 9th digit must be 0--9 or 'X', and cannot contain characters 'I', 'O', or 'Q'.

    We recommend acquiring the VIN directly from the vehicle's VIN Plaque on the dash, or the certification label in the door jamb since insurance and service documents are sometimes incorrect.

  • Support is not officially provided for aftermarket hardware with this calibration, however many hardware components which would normally work without any specific adjustment on the factory calibration may be automatically compatible.

    Examples include:

    -Most Exhaust components

    -Recirculated turbo bypass valves

    -Most brand name intakes (ONLY with any included resonator/venturi designed to prevent the intake from setting any DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes).

Purchased Advantage tune for our 2019 Traverse AWD.    Installing the tune was very smooth - no hitches at all!

Did some  informal before /after performance testing with an OBD data-logger my son had.    Before testing with 87 octane fuel, was seeing an average calculated 1/4 mile time of  15.9 seconds at 92 mph.   The after data with 93 octane averaged 15.5 seconds at 95mph.   Again this was informal data from a datalogger ,  however tried very hard to make 3 identical runs before and 3 runs after.  Then averaged for the above before/after data.

However; the main reason I purchased this was to improve the transmission's shifting performance (the OEM shifting was VERY soft, and the and downshifts seemed delayed with occasional hunting for the best downshift gear.  Mission accomplished - it no longer feels like a CVT tranny !    With light throttle driving it still shifts very smooth.   However under heavier throttle the shifIs firm up and it holds gears a bit longer.  The downshifts are much better, I would describe them as "deliberate". 

And the other bonus: the dreaded auto-stop feature is no more  🙂
