TRIFECTA presents: Cadillac CTS V-Sport 3.6TT LF3 MY2014+ Resonated Motorsport Exhaust Downpipes (Pair) (L/R)

This release post is a presentation of the engineering capabilities of TRIFECTA Performance: TRIFECTA sets the standard for the LF3 turbocharger downpipes with a pair of Resonated Exhaust Downpipes (L/R). Featuring CNC mandrel formed construction utilizing 321 stainless steel tubing, this Resonated Exhaust Downpipe Pair is designed to reduce exhaust noise by 7.5 decibels (when compared against straight test pipes), retaining the comfort of the vehicle per original Cadillac NVH standards. A powertrain power delivery profile software recalibration providing specific power increases of +95 ft-lbs (Peak gains of +90 ft-lbs) is included.

Design parameters (and specifications) of the Resonated Motorsport Exhaust Downpipes (Pair) for the Cadillac CTS V-Sport LF3 MY2014+ and corresponding ECM software reprogramming:

-Gains of +95 ft-lbs under the curve (on 91 octane) (Peak gains of +90 ft-lbs)

-Utilizes CNC mandrel formed 321 stainless steel tubing for restrictionless flow (compared against the crimped construction OE downpipes)

-Resonation chamber reduces exhaust noise by 7.5 decibels vs straight test pipes

-Harmonically balances the exhaust note for reduced exhaust harshness and rasp

-Improves power, turbo spool speed, and transient response

-Utilizes proprietary closed-cell metal foam crush gaskets for a leakproof and reliable seal

-Design incorporates FEA analysis for temperature stability and uniform thermal expansion that retains the orientation and position of all flanges, connectors, and fastener critical surfaces across the entire range of thermal conditions

-Internally polished for smoother flow

-Includes both oxygen sensor fittings in OE locations

-Direct OEM replacement: compatible with the stock exhaust system or aftermarket systems

-Made in the USA

-Powertrain calibration has been tested and validated for various environments, such as cold/heat, elevation, and variations in fuel quality

-Power feels linear and immediately responsive

-Retains all GM OE diagnostics and ECM functionality

-Retains all OE error code reporting and functionality

-Maintains functionality of ABS and TC systems

-Knock detection mechanisms and OE engine knock detection sensitivity is retained

-Return to stock functionality included with flash loader
